I have a copy from 1943 that was my great grandmothers. I was blessed enough to have her in my life when I was small. My copy is the nearly same as the one pictured, but in a almost avocado green, the edge binding is a bit different, and it is in less than mint condition. This book has been a part of my childhood for so long, and I have been so inspired by this book.

Oh, how lucky to have inherited your grandmother's copy--that, alone, makes it priceless!

Knowing whether or not your book is a first edition can be a wily process, since each publisher notes its first editions in its own way. I can tell you, however, that the true first editions of The Little Prince were bound in a salmon colored cloth. You could still have a first edition, just a different printing . . . a book appraiser would be able to tell you for certain.

*sighs* What a dream that would be...Mine is my grandmother's copy, which looks the same as yours but is a beige color with a chocolate-colored font. On the inside it only lists the original copyright date. Do you know if this could be an original copy? I know it's early, but I don't know if it's a first. Is it possible to find out using the ISBN?
Also, out of what is that cover made, do you know? It doesn't look like the same hard-cloth (sorry, I don't know the term) as mine.
Good luck with your sale

I just found another awesome free tracking service: Track New Book (http://tracknewbook.com). It can track new book by author, seed book, 400+ subjects, or keywords. Plus you can decide how often the notification is delivered.
